Michelle Mockalis

This is Michelle’s fourth year serving on the PTA Executive Board as President. She has led numerous staff events and will be overseeing several key roles this year. Michelle is a dedicated mom to two children—a second grader at White Oak Elementary and a 7th grader at Lanier Middle School.

She’s passionate about building a strong school community and is excited to continue supporting the PTA’s growth and success this year.

Co-Vice President

Sarai Morales

Sarai proudly serves as one of the Vice Presidents on this year's PTA Executive Board. She is the mother of two daughters—a fifth grader at White Oak Elementary and a middle schooler. Since moving to Sugar Hill from New York City in 2021, Sarai has actively supported her children’s education, including serving as a room parent—a role she considers one of her most meaningful and rewarding experiences. She is honored to serve the White Oak community and looks forward to a great school year ahead.

Veronica Guevara

Veronica is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the PTA Executive Board. She is excited about supporting special education students and the incredible teachers who work with them. Veronica believes every student deserves the resources, understanding, and opportunities they need to thrive. She is committed to helping build a school environment that celebrates and supports all kinds of learners.

Treasurer

Teja Plyler

Teja is excited to serve as the Treasurer for the White Oak Elementary PTA this year. She looks forward to supporting the students, teachers, and school community by managing the PTA budget and helping ensure everything runs smoothly.

Secretary

Iris Landers

Iris is a proud mom of three Longhorns—including a second grader at White Oak Elementary, a 7th grader at Lanier Middle, and a recent graduate of Lanier High. She’s excited to serve as PTA Secretary on this year’s Executive Board and loves being active in the community. As a longtime room parent, Iris values strong parent-teacher connections and enjoys helping families stay engaged. She’s passionate about supporting students, uplifting staff, and building a fun, welcoming school environment for all.

Parliamentarian

Krystal LoPresti

Krystal is a proud mom of two boys and a former county teacher who has been part of the White Oak community for several years. She values the strong connections between parents and teachers and understands the lasting impact a dedicated PTA can have on a school. Krystal is excited to support White Oak Elementary in her role as Parliamentarian this year.

Principal

Stacey Pickett

Ms. Pickett serves as the Principal of White Oak Elementary and is a valued member of the PTA Executive Board. She has led the school as Principal since April 2023 and previously served as Assistant Principal beginning in 2009, when the school first opened. Her deep historical knowledge and inspiring vision for White Oak make her an essential part of the board’s leadership.
